What is the difference between genotype and phenotype?
An organism's genotype is the genetic information that the organism has in its DNA. The phenotype is the trait(s) that show as a result of the DNA. Some genetic information never shows up in the phenotype because some genes are dominant (or more powerful) than others. Watch the video below to see it explained with an example.
